The JRC depends primarily on the capabilities and qualifications of the Youth Branch members for the implementation of its various activities, participation in youth camps, organisation of seminars and conferences, or the workshops on first aid, water rescue or disaster management.

The JRC is also an active member in the EURO-MED  Youth Programmes through participation in workshops, youth exchange and European Voluntary Service programmes funded by the EU commission
