The JRC is well known throughout the country and through its large volunteer network is able to work with the local communities defining needs and developing solutions from within, thus building capacities and reducing vulnerabilities.

The Jordan Red Crescent - being guided by the Fundamental Principles- implements a diversity of activities and programmes which contribute to the achievement of its mission; ‘To alleviate the suffering of the victims and the vulnerable of natural disasters and armed conflicts and to protect their dignity and rights in a manner that preserves their lives, safety, security and well being.’
